Summer somehow manages to fly by faster than I'd like. My solution to that is to live somewhere that summer is actually longer than 2 full months :) Sadly that isn't Wyoming where work is taking us! We've been lucky this year though with summer going from the end of May or early June through July so far. June did have a few weeks of cold temps and rain though, but thankfully those passed!
While Bryson is away the girls and I have been trying to enjoy plenty of outside time. We've watched most of our neighbors move away since graduation, but are having fun with those who are still around!
Here are some pictures from the first half of our summer!
Neighbor friends, Oz and Sophia, play Mr. Potato head with Abby
Strawberry Shortcake time for Brynn and Abby!
We have become lovers of Brooklyn's Playground this year!!
What would summer be without sweet red watermelon dripping from chins, cheeks, hands and elbows?!
Since Pocatello doesn't have an outdoor pool, we head to a little lake called Jensen's Grove in Blackfoot about once every other week. It's equipped with sandy beaches, a swimming area, and a dock to swim to and from! Perfect for a few hours of entertainment!
We often go with our friends, the Hickenloopers, who have a little girl, Ainsley, who is just 6 months younger than Abby. Those two can be the best of friends or worst enemies depending on the day!
This is how to tell when Brynn has had enough sun and is about ready to go home
Although there aren't any pictures, we have made one trip to the Idaho Falls Zoo and are planning on going for one final visit tomorrow. Once baby brother arrives our trips to IF are going to be non-existent since we will be moving after that! Brynn and Abby both love that zoo so I can easily say it's worth the 50 minute drive!
