Family Home Evening Fun!

This year we have made it a goal to do our best at having Family Home Evening, especially when Monday evening's don't work for our family due to scheduling conflicts.  After only a few weeks the girls have become REALLY good at reminding us of FHE or asking when we're going to have it again!  Without their constant reminders and eager attitudes we wouldn't be near as diligent.  We typically try and teach some gospel principle or reteach/review the lesson that the girls had in primary.  

But honestly, who doesn't just love the activity that goes along!?  We decided to go bowling at ISU one evening which ended up being a great hit.  We were the only ones there until just a few minutes before we left!

 It's a sad day when our 2 and 4 year old can nearly beat us bowling!  Apparently, I either (1) need to use the ramp or take after Brynn's form, or (2) Do it more than once a year.  This just really isn't my thing - lucky for me my kids love it and could care less that I'm terrible.  The day that they beat me it may not be a good FHE activity any longer though...

Another night we made "Mice Cream" cones!  I'm not sure which the girls enjoyed more - making them or eating them!  Either way it was a good end to a Monday evening!
