A quick recap of our Colorado Christmas! We are so blessed to have both sets of grandparents (Walls and Webber's) within about 20 or so minutes of each other! One trip home and we can visit everyone!
For memory purposes, here's a bunch of pictures with a few captions of our Christmas break in Durango/Bayfield Colorado!
Helping Grandpa Walls with some touch up painting! What a brave man!
Abby showing off her new headband that I (Bethany) am in love with!
As a family tradition, the Walls family goes out to a restaurant every Christmas Eve. Jenny was able to come home from Provo, UT as well! Of course it wasn't the same without (Elder) Chip Walls, but he's finishing up his last year in Guatemala as an LDS missionary!
Ornaments from Elder Walls!
Brynn and Grandpa at dinner!
Abby and Daddy
Grandma Walls (mom) and Bethany
Grandpa couldn't help but pop his head into the picture :) Jenny, Brynn, and Abby are showing their ornaments that Uncle Chip sent for Christmas!
We spent some time out at the Webber's house as well. Papa's addition is a great play area now!
Family tradition is that the entire family gets together for a big nice dinner followed by presents! Brynn was more than thrilled to help pass them out this year!
Most of the cousins (all but the Alston's kids who were in in AZ)
(Stryker, Teryk, Abby, Aram, Jasper, Swift, and Brynn)
"Modeling" the dress Grammie made for her this year!
A VERY special visitor arrived and surprised the kids! He even came with a good bag for each of them!
Brynn's face in the picture above is classic - she was so excited to see Santa this year!!
Abby took a little reassuring and hand holding to get up there.
Abby "modeling" her dress as well! They will be perfect spring time dresses!
Abby loved her new quillo that Grammie made her as well! She had to try it out!
Santa's goody bag came with goofy glasses!
The girls showing off their new homemade Christmas jammies from Grammie and Papa! They were a perfect outfit and end to Christmas Eve!
Christmas Morning this year was with the Walls Family
Grandma Walls got them each some new princess dress up accessories earlier in the week. They wore them at home and to church!
Elmo slippers!
The girls were eager to help pass out and open the presents!
Monster Slippers!
Bryson got a gun lighter in his stocking - very well fitting for his personality and interests!
One of the BEST parts of the day?! Definitely popping the bubble wrap that came with some of the gifts!
Snuggling up to watch a movie after a long day of presents and food!
We had a great Christmas, made some awesome memories, and had a great week or two away from school and work in Idaho. One of my favorite things was that the girls get to know their grandparents so well!
