I've never in my life been a gardener. Bryson and I have done flowers and been pretty successful with the no-fail durable ones. We also grew a few pumpkins not long after we were married in our front flower garden in place of flowers one year. We successfully produced a few decent sized pumpkins but sadly the largest one was crushed by a lifted pick-up truck who didn't see our tiny patch as he backed up!
This spring we started our own little container garden inside. Our starters were doing really well - everything had sprouted - cucumbers, watermelon, zucchini, and green bell peppers. Sadly we left them out one night and of course it was the one day it was in the 70's during the day and dropped to mid 20's at night. So we started over and didn't have as much success. But with the starters that did sprout again (along with a few store bought starters!) we've been able to see the first of the season's growth! YAY!
Now let's just hope they grow a little more than this and we can actually eat them! Hope to see some cucumbers growing soon as well! If only we hadn't killed the first round we'd be a whole lot further a head at this point...darn it. Oh well, we'll enjoy what we've got!
Here's some cut pictures of the girls while we visited Colorado for 2 weeks in June!
Grandpa took us out and Brynn caught her first two fish with a little help from mom and grandpa!
She was SO proud of herself...but then each time she touched them she'd giggle and say "oh, they're gooey!" It was very cute and fun!
Hooray for pool time!!
Brrr!!!!!

Those like amazing!! My garden doesn't look half as good!
You cute little family! Your veggies are a lot further along than mine! Next year I'm going to start them inside!
What a fun summer. Great job with your garden. Kaelyn has the same white dress with the pink and green so they can be triplets sometime =D
