Constantly Changing

Sometimes I sit back and wonder when things will slow down.  The questions so many of us go through: "Is this job a life long career?"  "When will we own our own home?" "How can I handle more than 2 crazy kids?" And the list just continues on and on...

As many of you already know, and some of you are probably still unaware, after moving to Las Vegas and working as a Game Warden for the Division of Wildlife and training for 10 months, we decided that as a family we needed to go a different route.  The job is an awesome job and Bryson would have loved it...but it just wasn't suitable for our family lifestyle.  After heading back to the drawing boards and with a lot of thought and prayer, we decided Bryson should apply to Graduate School.  After countless hours of research he decided GIS (geographical information systems - aka mapping) was the field of interest.  After applying to only 2 schools we found out - Bryson has been accepted to the GIS program under a professor who is greatly into wildlife just as Bryson is and even has a BS in Biology/Wildlife as well!

SO...for the summer we're blessed enough to be back in Durango surrounded by family.  It's awesome to have both the Walls (Beth's parents) and Webbers (Bry's parents) here.  I'm so thrilled the girls will get to know both sets of grandparents over the summer months!  Plus the girls have amazing aunts and uncles and cousins who either live here or visit!  We've both got jobs lined up for the summer.  Then sometime towards the end of the summer we're headed back to Idaho!  This time we'll be in Pocatello, ID as Bryson attends Idaho State University!  I'm so proud of him for getting into the first program and school of his choice!  He worked so hard to get where we are and he's going back to school now so he can provide for us as a family.

So follow us on our journey...as of now we think we know what we're doing!  Then again we've thought that multiple times and things keep changing!  We've been blessed to make choices that have been good for our family as we learned about ourselves, the gospel, the world, made many new friends, and see different places.

First stop on our drive....

The girls were AWESOME - slept so much of the long drive!

Abby loved Brynn sharing her precious ponies with her!  They are the best of friends and worst enemies already!  Lucky for me (driving with both girls in our car) - they chose to get along together this particular day!

Cheesy smile with her toys!

Fire in Flagstaff that closed the highway we needed to use!  This among potty breaks, truck rental tire blowing out, more potty breaks, and food stops created a 13 hour drive!  Luckily we rolled into my parents place a little after 1:00 am!  Safe and sound we were all VERY glad to be here!

I'll post some pictures soon of the fun things we've been up to in Colorado!  At the rate I've been going it'll take me a few weeks to get there...but pictures and updates are coming :)

Give us a call if you're in our area this summer - we'd love to see you!

My parents told me you two were headed to ISU in the fall. Exciting! Be sure to let us know when you come to IF for temple visits and things. Our family can be your family away from family!

If we're still in Blackfoot we'll have to hang out! My husband is actually looking into the graduate program at ISU so maybe they can be friends. :)
